The Forum for Youth Investment seeks a collaborative, innovative, and entrepreneurial leader and manager for the David P. Weikart Center to advance the ultimate mission of the Forum, ensuring the readiness of young people for life. The talented leader will grow the Weikart Center, a business unit poised for continued dynamic growth, by strengthening its products and internal systems and broadening its client base for the adaptation, implementation, and scaling of quality improvement systems. Capacity Building Training Specialist

The Capacity Building Training Specialist will manage the delivery of training and technical assistance to the Weikart Center’s national client base of out-of-school time (OST) systems. Key responsibilities will include: (a) managing all aspects – from project design to logistics to delivery -- of the Weikart Center’s core capacity-building curricula (e.g., Training of Trainers (TOT) courses) and other routine trainings; (b) facilitating the development of an active national learning community organized around the Weikart Center’s quality improvement content and training methods; (c) supporting the development of new and ongoing improvement of existing training and technical assistance products and services and (d) delivering training for strategic projects or clients. The position will be based in the Weikart Center’s Ypsilanti, Michigan office.

Project Management Assistant

The Project Management Assistant (PMA) will support project managers who provide services to out-of-school time (OST) clients, as well as project design and management processes. This includes: coordination of project timeline events such as live and online training and technical assistance; coordination of logistics; prep and delivery of materials related to live and online training and technical assistance; design and editing of new products and training materials; web updates; record-keeping of data in CRM software; and maintenance of client records and relationships. Support the internal teams through maintenance of existing and development of new systems and protocols. The ideal candidate will blend superior administrative, organizational, detail-oriented, and logistical skills with experience in and a passion for the youth development field.
