Tom Devaney

Managing Director

Tom is responsible for data collection, analysis and reporting for a variety of research and evaluation projects, including the Youth Program Quality Intervention, a multi-state randomized field trial of setting quality funded by the W.T. Grant Foundation.  In addition to his research responsibilities, Tom oversees daily operations at the Center and helps develop performance metrics for the Forum’s Ready by 21 initiative.

Tom joined the Center in January 2008.  Previously, he held a variety of management-level marketing and research positions in the commercial research and software development industries.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Latin American Studies from the University of Chicago and has completed graduate coursework in Michigan State University’s Educational Policy Ph.D. program.
