LaDonna Chaney

Program Assistant/Executive Assistant

LaDonna began working for the Weikart Center in May of 2008 as a Data Entry Contractor.  She became an employee in July of 2009. 

Her primary role at the Weikart Center is Program Assistant to the Field Services Department. She handles all logistical duties pertaining to trainings and travel for all staff.  She is also the Assistant to the Executive Director and VP of Research, Charles Smith, to whom she provides support in areas such as travel and time management.

Prior to joining the Center, she spent three years as a team lead/mentor, for the Girl Scouts of the Huron Valley Council.  While there she organized and conducted after school programs at three sites.  She is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Product Design and Development at Eastern Michigan University.
