Kynisha Johnson

Office Manager

Kynisha oversees the administrative, training logistics, web course monitoring, record and office management processes. In addition, she is one of our corresponding liaisons to building relationships with our growing and demanding clientele consisting of organizations, agencies and other groups. Kynisha is a major contributing colleague to the overall projects that Center for Youth Program Quality endeavors to take on.

Kynisha joined the Center for Youth Program Quality in February 2008. During her tenure at the Center for Youth Program Quality, she has maintained an efficient flow of the day-to-day business operations of the center. She coordinates with the Forum on a regular basis to ensure the long-distance relationship remains in tack from the administrative standpoint.

Prior to her work at CYPQ, Kynisha worked as a field data collector for the High/Scope Educational Research Foundation. She also was an active participant of the different trainings that High/Scope offered, including one (TCP) which resulted in her obtaining trainer certification in 2003. Kynisha is an active community service volunteer and incumbent to numerous nonprofit organizations like the Detroit Parent Network and Save Our Community Outreach. From neighborhood block clubs to coordinating parent-teacher organizations in schools throughout the Detroit school district, Kynisha continues with a sense of diligence and perseverance to gladly serving in the community as a parent, community, and most importantly, as a youth advocate.

Kynisha obtained her Associate Degree in Arts and Business in 2005 from Western International University/Axia College, a subsidiary of the University of Phoenix through the distance learning environment. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management through the University of Phoenix.
