Kynisha Johnson is the Office Manager for the Center for Youth Program Quality (CYPQ), a division of the Forum for Youth Investment. Her main role at CYPQ is to provide and manage the administrative processes of the organization while at the same time building relationships with our growing clientele. She is a part of the overall projects that CYPQ endeavors to take on. Prior to her current position, she worked as a field data collector for High/Scope Educational Research Foundation; where she received her Training Certification in 2003. Therefore, she is knowledgeable of the High/Scope content and backgrounds associated with youth development and have become an asset to the CYPQ organization. Kynisha’s education background includes obtaining an Associate’s Degree in Arts n” Business in 2005, from Western International/Axia College; obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from at the University of Phoenix (June 2010); and currently pursuing a Master’s in Business Management at the University of Phoenix (June 2012).
Over the years, Kynisha has been involved in a number of community service projects. Kynisha is a member of the Detroit Parent Network. Over the past 15 year, Kynisha has been involved in youth development with previous work or volunteer experience in the Highland Park and Detroit Public School Districts, Don Bosco Hall, various child care centers, and non-profit organizations. She currently volunteers at her churchs’ faith- based, non-profit community organization, Save Our Community Outreach as the Executive Director, and work diligently with the youth department and the executive administrative & finance staff at her home church, New Creation Church Ministries in Detroit, MI since 1995.
